Hi Maurice,

I tested the system across most pairs, apart from some of the more "exotic pairs" with high spreads.

Tonight, at 10pm GMT, I will be taking the following two trades, as long as they close according to the rules:

- EUR/CHF (Buy)
- CHF/JPY (Sell)

Hello Ash,regarding the eur/chf posible trade, the uper wick is greater than the lower wick (but not a great deal of diferance). reason why i bring this up is a few posts ago you mentioned this as a reason (usd/cad trade) why you are not taking this trade. But you also mentioned that this does not mean that the trade will not be succesful. i am aware that its not a system rule,it all comes down to gut feelings and experiance. But this brings me to the main reason why i am posting,

what i would like to do is be prepared to hedge using this system or something else on a lower time frame to cover posible huge drawdowns especialy if in future i or we trade a pair such as gbp/jpy. some pairs like this one is not for the faint hearted. the swing high and lows on these pairs are massive.

to conclude, i am just sugesting we all come up with a plan to cover our back sides. if anyone has ideas for hedging please share. Thanks again Ash.:)

Default Checking trades on Daily Basis

Ash,

I checked your V2 daily stretegy and had about 2 out of 3 time sucess. I learned to stick to the entry and exit rules to get the most out of the trades I am entering.

One quick way I found to see the possibility of daily trade is to:

Open chart and see the existence of first PSAR dot.
If it is there you are ready for the trade at the close of the bar and check other signals aligning before the actual entry. If not, then NO trade.

Thanks Ash for putting your time in showing us how to fish.

About the USD/CAD, there were a number of factors which didn't really appeal to me. Apart from the wick issue, the problem was that the candle was relatively extremely long, much longer than the daily average. Also, there was support which was too strong for my liking (see pic).

2 out of 3 times is better than most systems. Sticking to the rules is important, along with applying S&R.

Funny, I am on GFTForex and the PSAR did not flip until today and my AC is still showing buy as of yesterday.

mmaurice, I also use GFT as one of my brokers. Which pair are you referring to? I have EUR/CHF up and it now has two PSAR dots below.

Default Only Daily and H4?

Ash,

Thanks for sharing you latest version. Just testing it out and trying some new things.. Are you seeing alot of whipsaws or false signals with the 1 hour? Is Daily and 4H the only TFs this can be run?

I just sometime like the flexibility of the 1H and it tends to weed out alot of chops that goes on smaller TF..

Thanks again for sharing and for this great forum!! :D

Ash,

Been using the new version on 5m 15m and 30m. Mostly on the eur/usd and usd/chf and gbp/usd. Since I don't have a life and get home before the London session starts, results have been good.

I did add the MA's from your SSS. It seems to me it helps when things are just going sideways. Does that make sense? LOL Not sure how to put it in words.

I agree don't get in now. I got in late and made a loss and realise you need to get in at the right time or don't bother. Another lesson learned.

Ash, would just like to say a BIG THANKYOU for all your efforts. I know you say you don't like people copying you pip for pip, but to be honest I am not at a stage where I can trade for myself, I need a helping hand. I took those trades EXACTLY like you said, and all I can say is, a BIG THUMBS UP!

Just to clarify, I am in NO new trades today, as AshFX V2 did not signal anything new.

Besides, having banked 700 pips in a single day, I think it's a good day's work, and a day off wouldn't do us any harm.

Congrats to those who entered last night. Big bucks today hey.

Ash,

I'm not quite clear about your system, maybe you can enlighten me a bit. When the signals are all line up, we have to wait till the candle closes, is that mean that our entry should be the next candle/day. My question should we go ahead make an entry if the next day/candle, the color is opposite?

Thanks

Correct, AS SOON AS the candle closes, we enter.

Doesn't matter what colour the next day's candle is, for entry, we only look at that initial day's colours.

Hope that helps. Anything you're not sure about, ask away.

Nice system Ash! Last night I took the CHF/JPY trade... was a bit too conservative and moved my SL to +50 when I was up +100 went back to bed and was stopped at +50. Could have had more if I followed your rules. Next time I will. :o

Ash,

Thanks for posting version2, I have been following version1 thur factory forex. for several months and have been very pleased. I tried to down load the new version from FF and was unable to open the file. Says file is unavailable or corrupt. So I clicked on your free signal on FF to try an follow up on the zip file. Like your forum and site so thought I would join.

Don't get your hopes up too much. The CHF trade today was a whopper because the Bank of Switzerland lowered rates and then announced that they were intervening to lower the swiss franc.
