It depends on your needs. This is a very sweeping question. :D What are your needs?

Do you prefer fast execution (Dealing Desk) or do you prefer tighter spreads with floating liquidity? (ECN)

but i need a broker with low spreak allow scalping
have much pairs.
were i can wathc the S&P chart and the dowjones chart

ulso a broker with good realtime prijces .
and fast excution is very important that i can some times trade the news.
and wath i can trust to put my money in there.

Hedging will be a good thing .

Using a any specified Time frame
buy / sell @ the high/ low of the candle or bar plus a specified buffer, with a stated stop loss, take profit and lot size

. I've used some literature about the MT, but it doesn't help to trade on practice. Maybe this is my laziness, but there are only talks about. Has anyone faced with such a problem, when you are trading and suddenly, GBP goes down for 800!!! pip in 3 hours? I mean, what the hell?? Such things have ruined my account 3 times already... Meanwhile, I've solved my problem with proper information. At least some stable income is day to day going to my account. Check it out here

Hi, I am alpari's live customer and I was disappointed to find out that there are less than 10 instruments on their mt5 platforms. I could not find any alternative platforms suggestions on forums so I searched online and I found the mt5 of a broker called Sunbirdfx. Not only their mt4 platform is surprising but also the mt5 since they provide almost 30 currency pairs and same number for CFDs…. Very nice trading with it.. I wish that the live trading on the mt5 will be available soon. .

to scalp the eurusd with out scalping then MBtrading is the best spread that i see till now for people with small account

to swing trade or intraday you can use gomarkets or alparie

to get cashback for your trades on any other broker then go to this website and open an account trough them and you will get part of your spread back.

First, when you are comparing brokers, you need to have clear criteria in order to make an efficient comparing. All mt4 are actually the same and the main question is how the brokers use this platform, which makes the difference between the brokers. From my point of view, when I look for a broker I want to get the lowest spreads, fastest performance and I trade only with ECN STP brokers. I have gone through many brokers in the recent years and my account eventually settled at Alpari UK, which has a great MT4 platform. However, I kept looking for new brokers and 6 months ago I started checking the demo of a broker named sunbird fx. The results were surprising: much faster broker, no requotes at all and very low spreads. After a while I opened a live account of 1000$ and the results are still great, I seriously think to make this account my primary, but I will wait few more months for that.

Different people have different criteria. My criteria won't match with you. Your criteria won't match with me.

Some peopel face problem to deposit $5, some deposit $5000 at a shot. Your problem arise when yor deposit also arise. Oanda, dukascopy are for big tarders while instaforex, fxopen may work for new small traders.

jeffblack2 You are right...Definitely what is good for you do not necessary will be good for others.
I think one of the ways to know how a broker is good or not, is asking your friends, ask who they are trading with and why, and who they traded with in the past and why they stopped. That can give you a good idea..

each broker have something to offer and alot of brokers offer the MT4 platform, its really hard to pipoint one broker, but i suggest you look for a broker that has what you need, or what you would be using and would benefit you, make it simple and you should get the right broker

Im also glad to hear that you trade demo with Gdmfx.Just take your time learning and polishing your skills thru a demo and when you feel you are ready,sign with a small account to start your live trading.An amount you can afford to lose.

There are so many tips to choose best broker, Firstly we check trading conditions including spreads, platforms and system which was important for us. i think the best options is find the broker who give you the lowest spread and fast execution. this really help you in long term trading.
