Default MbTrading MT4 Platform

Does anyone have experience with the beta version of MbTrading's MT4 platform? I was wondering how it was going to integrate with MT4 since their order handling is a bit different.

But they were looking for traders to help test and develop their MT4 platform....don't know if they still are.

Actually, I just opened a demo account with them today, using MB MetaTrader 4.

Default NO LIVE on MT4

I just got off the phone with one their reps about an hour ago.

As of now they DO NOT offer LIVE accounts using MT4, there are still in a test phase for demo accounts.

The rep could not give me a time when he thought they would go live with MT4 accounts.

We'll have to wait and see..

Theo

I think the problem you've got is that MB Trading are an ECN broker and that causes problems with the MT4 interface which has delayed the rollout. If they ever do get it working, you will need a bridge in order to get MT4 EAs to work. Bridges are advertised upwards of about $150, so will they supply the bridge or will it be an integral part of their offering?

One other thing that interests me. Do they show you the order book as part of their other platform (Navigator) or do you just see the charts?

I've used an EA on Varengard's MT4, an ECN broker, without any bridge.

The reason you can't find anything on Varengard is because their name is Varengold.

There also seems to be a bit of confusion on the difference between an ECN broker and a NDD broker. To the best of my knowledge Varengold offer a NDD service, but I was under the impression that they still act essentially as a market maker and are not an ECN broker. I'm happy to be corrected if anybody knows different.

Despite what some might say or claim, this is different to a true ECN broker whose function is to route a match to a willing counterparty who is happy to take the other side of your trade. An ECN broker will charge a commission on each deal because there is no spread as such with a matched deal.

I had a live account for a little while at Varengold and I have a hard time believing they are a true ECN because they always slipped me a pip entering a trade and also exiting a trade. In my a opinion they are not honest because they are stealing pips from people.
