Default type of Forex Trading System?

Playing "Chess"

This involves opening buy/sell orders (GBP/USD & USD/CHF) its a bit complicated at first, just like the start of any chess game. I risk 1 minimum lot size on the mirco account on GBP/USD my first "Pawn" and if it goes 12 -15 points into profit I place a winning stoploss at 2 - 5 points and have my first "GBP/USD Queen" if this is a sell "Queen" I place a sell "USD/CHF Pawn". I know its a higher risk as 90% of the time these 2 pair go in opposite directions. So lets say the risk fails I counter the risk by placing a buy "GBP/USD Pawn" over time my board is loaded with all sorts of "Pawns" from both sides, until like Fridays trading my risk paid off and I'd both an extra "sell GBP/USD Queen" & buy "USD/CHF Queen" I then made a few "Check" moves on the now waiting "Kings" (open orders in profit but no cover for closing) once my "Queens" protected my "Pawns" until they became "Kings" on the opposite side I placed winning stoplosses on equal amount of opposing teams.

After 3 weeks playing my winning "Kings" stand at 186, Balance: +800%, Equity: Slightly below +10% Open orders -700% a good tradesperson will tell you its a long way from "Check mate" but chess is never meant to be rushed

Choosing a trading system is not an easy task. When selecting a system, the basic question to determine is what kind of trader you are. Are you a technical trader or a fundamental trader? Do you rely on charts and technical indicators or do you rely on economic data and reports? The answers to these questions are critical because it will help you to determine what type of trading system to adopt.

Simple trading systems are good for skilled beginners and intermediate traders, but may not suit more experienced traders. Advanced strategies were all at some point simple, but later were improved by traders. So, learning the basic ideas behind simple strategies will help you in the long run to advance in your own strategy making.

Before you even start looking for forex trading systems, you need certain qualities. You need to be comfortable with figures. You need to be cool headed and, in a certain way, ruthless; while you don’t have to deal with other people too much, you do have to face your own fears. You need to be able to take risks without being a gambler who will stake all for a win.

A trading system is a set of parameters that predicts the price movement of a currency. Most experienced traders will use a trading system because it helps to determine when to enter a trade, how long to hold it, and when to sell and take a profit or accept a loss. These are decisions that traders make every day in every trade. Using a good trading system will not protect against a losing trade. However, it will help to keep losses to a minimum. It can also maximize the profits on each trade. In short, a trading system takes much of the guesswork out of trading.

There are basically two types of trading systems: Technical and Fundamental. There is another group emerging called the Intermarket trading system, but this type is not yet fully developed or employed by any definable group of traders. Back to the basics, the two types of trading systems are technical systems and fundamental systems.

Before the selection of the best trading strategy for you it is very important that you master some necessary knowledge in order to choose whether you require the Fundamental or the Technical System. Which of them to choose depends only on the type of the trader you are.
