I think you'll be hard pushed to find a MT4 broker who will quote you USDX. To even get some of the way there, you need a broker who firstly has a SEK feed. You can then execute a script that calculates USDX.

Unless things have changed recently, that's just about as close as you'll get.

Otherwise, oil and gold are no problem. ODL and several others do these.

Hi, I use Alpari which i have found to be really good as they do Micro accounts which suits me the beginner, Not 100% sure about oil or gold though as I have started small and only do a couple of pairs.

I have very little experience with these retail platforms - willing to test out a few to see how they tick. Any ideas? As an aside, I worked for a US bank on their trading floor - so I'm not super duper familiar with retail trading platforms. I worked with one, spread based - simple to use, not great charting - not horrible either. Want to move to ECN and figure out the fuss over MT4. Thanking you in advance for your input.

Many brokers offer CFD trading (oil, gold, silver..) but for some reason they do not try to make low spreads in order to attract clients, like they do in currencies. When it comes to gold and oil trading, you would want to trade with a real ECN brokers, otherwise your trading experience will be negative. I trade with Alpari UK and I am very happy with them (2 years). I also have a demo account at Sunbirdfx and I must say that I was surprised with their mt4 performance. It is very fast and I don't get requotes whatsoever…I am seriously considering opening a live account at sunbirdfx just to see if it is the same in live accounts.

Hi I wanna suggest you looking at MegaTradederFx. I am registered with them since this summer, they give bonus 20% on first deposit and 10% on any other deposit. I like the very fast execution. I would recommend you to experience trading on their demo account first before making any decision to open a live account. As you may know, every broker offers different type of platforms. Check on spreads, commissions, minimum deposit, term & conditions, etc.

I have been trading with Tickmill for quite sometimes. I'm satisfied with their friendly customer support and execution so far.

I think almost all brokers offer these comodities, just a few do not have Dollar Index, brokers such as Instaforex, FXpro has Gold, Dollar Index, Oil in their MT4 Platform!

First of all we need to understand that it's impossible to trade with bucketshop so regulations and internet feedback are two most important things we need to consider before starting to trade. I set my choice on Hotforex two years ago and I'm completely satisfied and feel safe with them.

The vast majority of brokers offer MT4. It's just important to pick one with a reliable license.
