Default MT5 vs MT4

Hi there. I've only been trading for a few months using MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and am thinking about switching to the new MT5 platform. What are the main differences between MT4 and MT5?

While comparing the two you will find that they are pretty much similar when it comes to designing, but the main difference lies within its large iconic views in mt5 which is quite beneficial for us. charts are quite much same in both, but introduction of testers is quite beneficial in mt5.

MT5 hadn't become the replacement for MT4. Nobody wants to give up their indicators and EA, at the same time brokers don't want to pay for the new platform. The decision from MetaQuotes is not to create something new, but to improve what exists. They have announced the huge changes for MT4. And since the November 1, they've started the beta-testing of the new MT4 update.
We, at ForexEASystems, have been among the first ones who tested a new update. Now we are happy to present you our exclusive, that you can read on our blog. Simply follow this copy this link to the browser forexeasystems.com/blog/new-mt4-features-you-will-love

Thanks, Alex, good article! Do you know, by the chance, on which date the official release is scheduled?

My broker vinson financials provide both MT4 & MT5 platforms but MT4 is my favourite, I took some consideration and I see MT5 is not enough to replace MT4. Maybe in the future.

MT4 allows only hedging. MT4 is designed for CFD forex instruments, whereas MT5 is an all-in-one state of the art multi-asset trading platform, covering both centralized and non-centralized financial markets, including, stocks, futures and FX trading instruments. MT5 is faster and more efficient than MT4.
