How does one draw trend lines? Some people are able to take a chart and draw two parallel lines that makes so much sense because it clearly connects consecutive highs (top) and consecutive lows (bottom).
I try to do that, but I have to cheat to make it fit. :D My question is, Do everybody's trendlines look the same? Last edited by Henry; 25-08-2009 at 19:07. |

So far, Trading View is the best website for drawing top charts. I used to use it with a FreshForex broker, sometimes using only chart analysis, which made me a lot of money.

Price on the charts are usually fractals so it may not be easy for higher timeframes trends lines to connect with the candles of lower timeframes however analysing higher timeframes can give us better insights of what price is doing and we can analyse trends / price movements for long terms.

trendlines are “areas” not laser-precise points - lower timeframes will pierce any line you draw. I anchor on HTF structure, then treat the line as a zone and look for reaction/failed auction rather than perfect touches.
