looks like eur/usd is redeeming herself! 2 Trades both winners now we are only -105 in the hole for her this week.

Seriously I think we are going to be fine. If there is any concern than the only logical thing to do is reduce risk. The only negative thing is if you reduce risk after a full stop loss like this than it will take longer to recover.

A perfect example is eur/jpy we hit a full stop loss on 8.4.2011 and since than it has been all green pips. If I had reduced my risk to much I would not be able to recover.

Also note that by keeping risk reduced it will protect your account now and in the future. If we hit a stop loss with only 2% risk than we only lose 2% but if we have insane risk (like me) than we lose 10-15%

Some carnage this week. Two full SL hit on EURUSD and EURJPY. I had a fairly high risk of 0.3 lot size on the EURUSD so the one trade was a $360 dollar loser. Other losers as well - GBPUSD and EURCHF - not the best of weeks.

How is Wally performing at the moment John? I've stopped trading temporarily as it was losing too regularly for my liking. I'll put some news about FAP Turbo 54 with Ichimoku and they really should be run together.

I'll try and get some stats up. I've been running a demo for the rest of August myself but I'm back live.

So far since September wally has been doing fantastic!

For October there has been 219 trades, 802 total pips, 82% win rate, 30.81% growth on my account

since September there has been 338 trades, 1358 total pips, 81.5% win rate, 64.41% growth on my account

So I really don't know why many people say negative things about this ea???? What more can you ask for averaging over 30% every month. I know summer was bad but its always bad and guess what December will probably suck too. I'll be shutting my ea's down by December 15 untill January 7. No sense giving my money away.

I'm sure some folks didn't give wally long enough to prove herself. Anyone else trading wally around here?

here are the November results for all the pairs in wally.

and for the 4 majors....

** I'm having technical difficulties so I will post the results in a minute

As you can see last month was less than stellar. I will be reducing risk on most of the pairs so that no pair will exceed 2%

December is a dangerous month to trade and I advise that most ea's be turned off by December 23 the latest and they should not be turned back on until 1.9.2012

Its just my 2 cents based on past years. Most of the "smart money" will be taking a vacation through the holidays and because of this we will be left with thin markets that will act unpredictably.

Talk to you guys later
John

yes aud/usd and nzd/usd are supported pairs now.

Personally I see that eur/usd is the best pair and gbp/usd is also doing well so I have decided to limit risk to 1% across the board accept for these two pairs which I kept at 4%.

I will be sure to let you guys know how it goes. Also this weekend I will do a pair by pair breakdown of the results.

since January we are down -2.34% Not bad all things considered. These ea's have done well in the past and I think they will continue to do well. I have a lot of hope for eur/usd even though it was down about -2.28 for the month.
g/u posted a profit of +1.56% not bad.
our new heavy hitter nzd/usd did okay too with a gain of 1.05%
and another newcomer aud/usd was basically breakeven at -.56% loss
rounding out the pairs I'm trading usd/chf lost -2.35% and usd/jpy had no trades.

overal these ea's are still on my "happy" list :D I will continue to trade them live

I don't know why but I think that overall most people can't handle drawdown. What most people don't realize is that psychology plays an important role in automated trading too.

People want to get rich quick and they don't understand the ebb and flow of the markets. This flow causes ups and downs in our equity.

Right now WSFR is down about 1% for the month its definitely not doing to bad just in a little slump thats all

Well Well

I am not totally convinced about this robot. I used several times,
And the results are not there. the exit signals sounds not appropriaite

There is a complex formulae regarding the parameters (SL and TP and all stuffs regarding indies)

I tried this robot on exotic pair, w/o success

if you got strong and valid templates, I would be interested to check one

I'm still trading it live. I did drop alternative pairs and to be honest performance has been break even so far this year. My results so far...

Since January overall -5.9% Since Feb 1 -3.9%

I am not giving up on this ea but I am likely going to reduce risk even further until performance picks up again.

Hi

I tried many times Wall Street, but this robot sounds deceptive for me.
I can see many posts from you here, w/ some winning trades, well of course, they were trends in the pairs showing profits.

Which release and which parameters do you use ?
I got this :

Let us know how it works out. Apparently, wall street bot still performs quite well for some people. I think it's not as good as growth bot, but on line with million dollar pips.

Hi John,

I've been following the thread for some time now. On the first page you described your portfolio as:

WSFR 3.8
Million Dollar Pips 1.1.4
Forex Growth Bot 1.6
Steady Winner 5.0
Forex Morning trade

It was doing really well from what I read later on. You were making even 60% per week.
How is it doing now, if you don't mind me asking?

I want to create a portfolio of EAs similar to yours - firstly on demos of course. I like the idea of diversification. I'm going to choose the EAs carefully though, hence my question.

Many thanks,
Rime
