Spreads + commissions. Those are the big things I think of first when choosing a broker. Other stuff is important too but those are the main ones

The first thing I look at when picking a broker is regulation. If I am satisfied with that I check their trading conditions and business practices. Thankfully, there are plenty of excellent brokers that fit all that criteria.
