Your opinion on HFM?

How would you rate their spreads during challenging times like increased volatility during news releases? Are they stable enough to do some profitable scalping? Any inputs are much appreciated.

Most of the spreads offered by brokers are competitive these days however we need to calculate these factors before buying or selling. This broker has overall a good reputation in my opinion and can be tested for scalping or short term trades.

Does it make sense to switch to account where spreads are fixed? They have such type of account, I guess if I can lock impact of spreads, then news trading will have more reliable results. Any pitfalls?
