Tried a few to no success. Has anyone made any decent trades using these?

in the long run.
In other words - don't fall prey to "consistent 10%+ daily profits"
just by using robots.

Get the fundamentals first. Then get your own system and test it offline (do that for weeks, if not months, until your system is well tested), whether you use a robot or not. It really takes a few months - a lot of patience and resilience. But if you are made for it, it is worth it.

I think, any serious trader will give you the same advice; go to a reputable Forex brokerage firm. Beginners think they can do it with a manual, but financial experts will disagree.

All i can say here, choose robots with extra caution especially, when you are a beginner.

You should always remember that any robot will have its limitations and that using one is no substitute for learning the trade. Create your own EA, based on your own trends once you have a mastery of the business. Yes, a beginner can learn from an EA, but ultimately, you (as the trader) should teach IT to do the hard-work that you don't have time for.

We have a lot of testing and discussion about different ea's

I personally love automated trading. It can be just as challenging as manual trading but with the benefit of being able to work whenever you want. I live in eastern USA and in my opinion the best session is London which means I have to get up at 2:00 am and that is not very practical. I would settle for trading NY but I'm an electrical contractor during the day. By the time I get home and I want to spend time with my family, besides that I don't care much for trading Asia.

So my only recourse was to get into automated trading. Robots are great because they monitor the markets when you can't and they are capable of doing many complicated calculations simultaneously. They do have limitations though. Everything has pros and cons

Anyway come join me over at the ea section (linked above) and see what I'm doing and learn how to trade using ea's the right way.

I also like with autotrading, but i never let them full automatic. I make it semi auto because it still need our management..
