Default FX Market in transition to a new future of trading

Similar to other industry sectors and segments in the societies, a transition from a macroeconomic state to another, usually implies new structures, often even new technologies.

For the stock market, and in this case the trading methods and technologies - a transition is in process. This will mean, new manners of trading, new types of trading platforms and tools - about new everything, in all segments, in all asset classes.

One of the first signals of such transition, is found in the retail FX market, by the entry of a Forex and CFD exchange by LMAX. Even they seem to have some difficulties to pick up liquidity, this is never the less a signal of a transition is taken place in one area of the new technologies.

Most providers are not at all prepared for the new market on the other side of this transition - some have already silently taken strategic positions, preparing for the new market and the new trading technologies.

This transition is very welcome, and I think, will be of benefit for all the traders, retail as well as institutional.
