Contest rules are the same as usual. But we decided to limit the currency pairs that can be traded in the contest – EURUSD and GBPUSD (the most popular pairs) will not be available for trading this time. By excluding EURUSD and GBPUSD we hope to give equal winning chances to newbies and more seasoned traders. Anyway, time will tell, who will be the best - let’s wait till we know the final score.

Registration for the contest is already open and will end on March 25th. The contest will be held between 26 and 30 March, 2012.

Terms for bonus receiving

A bonus a trader gets to his real trading account is equal to one percent (1%) of his profit gained.

For example, if a trader earns $ 5000, his account will be deposited with $ 50 bonus.

However, there are some limitations:

- The amount of bonus for one trader cannot exceed $ 100;

- Bonus can be withdrawn through any payment system available at FXOpen no less than 30 calendar days after it was acquired, 20 completed orders with a minimum duration of 10 minutes are necessary.

The total amount of all bonuses for the competition cannot exceed $ 1,100. In case of exceeding the budget we will reduce the proportion of bonuses for the difference between the actual sum of all bonuses calculated and our budget.

For example, if at the end of the competition the sum of all bonuses for traders is $ 1,500, the sum of actual bonuses paid will be reduced by $ 400 ($ 1500 - $ 1100 = $ 400).

The formula for bonus calculation:

Bonus = (1% of profit) * Planned Budget / Actual Budget, where

Profit - the actual profit earned by particular trader

Planned Budget = it is $ 1,100 for this particular competition

Actual Budget = the sum of all bonuses calculated, for example, $ 1,500

Prize withdrawal terms:

The main prize (1005 USD):
To get the prize, the winner must open a PAMM ECN account with FXOpen. The main prize (USD 1005) will be added as Manager's Capital to the newly-opened PAMM ECN account. The prize can be used to trade and develop the PAMM account. Once the Manager increases the funds in the PAMM account up to USD 5000, he can create offers and attract investors.

The prize can be withdrawn after a 3-month period, and after making at least 60 trades in the account. Profit can be withdrawn without any restrictions.

2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place prizes:
You can withdraw the prize via any of the payment systems available inside the MyFXOpen personal back-office area.

Bonuses:

Determination of the winner

A participant, who mentioned the exact closing price for the currency pair or the closest variant, will become a winner. Rules of the competition “Guess the exchange rate”

1. You have to add your forum’s nickname to your bet (for example, nickname – your bet);
