Default Magic-Champ 2

Okay guys here is one more I have been live forward testing for about 6 weeks so far. the results are promising. This ea doesn't trade as often as some of the others in my portfolio, but I don't see that as a bad thing especially if these ea's have a decent win rate and decent r:r I don't have enough data to make any conclusions yet but as soon as I do I will le t you guys know.

Also they were selling this ea through Plimus. As I'm sure many of you know Plimus has turned out to be bad news. They decided they do not want to sell ea's anymore and dumped everybody without any notice. many vendors had to scramble to set up a new affiliate network. this is the story with mc2.

The good news is they did set up shop already and I am awaiting my "credentials" Once I have that I can create a link for you guys.

In the meantime here is a widget. I am live forward testing this and another set of ea's so please use the magic numbers to filter the trades for your analysis.

mc2 is really taking off! they are almost up to 7% I may put this on my main account soon. I thought they trade to infrequently for me but I am proving to be impatient.

They are a sniper one shot one kill!

out of 36 trades only 2 losers and an overall pip gain of 268.1 and an amazing profit factor of 6.94 Wow I'm serious that is AMAZING!!!

MC2 is on fire! I really am loving this ea. A whopping 97% win rate and an unheard of profit factor of 9.29

Well as it turns out I had made a mistake when I loaded there most recent update and as a result I wasn't getting trades.

Well I fixed that and mc-2 has come alive and my account is up

I know I sound like a broken record but look at that profit-factor!!!!
The best I have ever seen!

For those of you who don't know Profit factor is simply defined as gross profits divided by gross losses. anything above 1 is acceptable but the higher the number the better.

This ea is the best performer in my portfolio right now! I have never seen such a high profit factor which is now 13.19

Another series of wins at a whopping 93% win rate

I love this ea and I am putting it on my main account. Hopefully this ea's profitability will last for a long time.

version 1.6_03_pro

There website is a little cut and dry but actually I appreciate it. I'm tired of all the over the top marketing that is out there. The choices are basically

MC-2 Basic
MC-2 Pro

if you sign up with one of there IB's you get a better deal. It all depends on what your looking for.

Me personally I'm really happy with hotforex and as an affiliate I collect my own commissions. That's why I didn't choose the IB deal.

Default February Results

Well MC-2 polished off the month at +12.99% Not bad all things considered. I had a really rough day, 2 days ago and virtually all of my ea's lost money including mc2 but I notice that it recovers super fast! Anyway here is a screen shot of myfxbook....

mc-2 is up over 24% this month. Very nice indeed. In fact I have decided to add this to my live portfolio. (not my live testing account but my real account)

Hello!

I've been reading this forum for almost two months now. I found it very useful due to Jonny ability to share his true experience and strategies for free.
I am interested in robot software due to the lack of time (full time job) and due to bad results during personal trading. I use to gain capital but due to over-trading i've ended with a lot of wasted time, no money and results.

My questions for thous that are reading this thread are:
- does it worth buying Magic Champ 2 pro ? i don't have the amount of money i wanted to start this kind of trading app. 1,200 $ (at this moment it means a considerable effort) and i am wandering if a custom robot would do the same.
- i have tested a couple of robots and found that the best results can be obtained with a robot that is based on 2 or 3 MA (buys when smaller MA overtakes larger MA and sales on opposed move). I am now looking to build a custom robot based on this idea but is time-consuming.

I am expecting your suggestions and opinions.
Tks.

eur/usd is doing great but gbp/usd not so much
april results overall -7.31%
eurusd +4.29%
gbpusd -11.12%

If you are following my threads than you know all my ea's are in drawdown this month. This is where psychology comes into effect. I can't throw away ea's over a lousy month or two but I can reduce risk. If May is rough too than I can probably count on a rough summer.

I will continue to watch and test new ea's. I have a lot of faith in mc-2 so I am not being negative. I am just observant. I will certainly keep everyone posted.

Hello,

I've recently started to test MC2 on demo. So far it is doing good - very few losers and many winners, however the lot size for winning trades was usually quite small comparing to the losing trades. That way with only two losing trades I lost $990 and $968. Had the lot sizes been smaller, it would be easier for MC2 to recover the loss.

John, you mentioned earlier that you minimize the risk for the ea's which perform worse - how can I make sure, that MC2 wouldn't trade with more than 2 lots? So far the risk is set to 3% - which is the default value, can I add a limit for lot size too?

Thanks and regards,
Rime
